Stacey's Orientation and Approach
_
Stacey believes we all possess the resources within ourselves to transform our lives for the better. She passionately guides her clients on a journey of discovering this basic truth as they transform their suffering into peace. Stacey encourages her clients to explore living as the best versions of themselves: healthy and whole human beings that are thriving in this world and not just surviving within it. Stacey believes it is vital and necessary to cultivate loving kindness and compassion towards ourselves as we work towards reconnecting to the brilliant clarity and wisdom shining within us at all times. Often times what separates us from the connection to our basic goodness and authentic selves are life events that are out of our control. Sometimes these events can be abrupt, such as a traumatic accident, or slowly progress over time, such as depression, addiction, or anxiety. In any case we are responding to what life brings us in the only way we know how and the best way we can. _Stacey’s Approach

Person-centered and humanistic in nature, Stacey believes the trusting relationship between the client and therapist is of greatest importance when bringing the unconscious into light. Stacey’s techniques include but are not limited to:

_Stacey helps clients pay attention to their thoughts and
become aware of their bodies as they begin to understand how each influences
the other. By using mindfulness techniques, clients can learn to take control
of their thoughts and emotions in order to transform their moods, states, and,
overtime, their entire lives for the better.
